Volunteer Opportunities
WITH CORPUS CHRISTI PARKS & RECREATION
The City of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department provides a variety of meaningful ways for individuals, community groups and businesses to showcase their commitment to the community through volunteering. Volunteers play a vital role to build community and add beauty in our lives. Below are some ways you can serve.
Adopt-a-Park Program
The program is designed to build vibrant communities through volunteers and parks. It offers volunteers ways to dedicate their time, talents and treasures to the maintenance and development of Corpus Christi’s unique park system. Our Department maintains over 190 parks that provide open space and recreation areas and facilities from Padre Island to Five Points. Join us to cleaning up parks and beaches, add a coat of paint to playgrounds, plant trees and more. Click here for details.

The RSVP program was created in response to critical community needs across the nation. It is designed to help seniors age 55+ to effectively use their time, energy, and skills to support non-profit organizations fulfill their missions. RSVP staff matches volunteers’ interests and schedules with several opportunities from non-profit agencies called volunteer stations that are registered with the RSVP program. Click here for details.
Senior Companions Program
